Описание: Beautiful house in beautiful village Ewsum. Ewsum lies with Middelstum. The area adjacent to the Medium Tumer Forest. The deposit site. Which is owned by the Forestry Commission. Includes a number of gardens and beautiful linden avenues. Part of the gardens is used for growing crops and has a historic greenhouse. A herb garden and a fruit wall along as before pears. Apples. Peaches and apricots grow. The plants are also used in the tearoom in the coach house. The complex also includes a large barn and a donjon. Or turret. The only remnant of the deposit. Which was built in the Middle Ages. Perhaps the most striking building on the grounds is the turret or donjon. Which is surrounded by water. It dates from 1472 and is built " against the interests of the city of Groningen." as the plaque in the wall can be read. The beautiful grounds are there to by a pin. Nowadays Ewsum especially a lovely place to walk around and enjoy the buildings. The tearoom and the beautiful gardens at the deposit site. The deposit is also the start of a six mile walk through the woods and fields around Middelstum.
